The Votani of Lysos is a continuation program of the Garden of Lysos and focuses on the professional rehabilitation of young people with intellectual disabilities and slight impairments, who have already attended the training program that takes place in the premises of the Garden of Lysos.
The company operates in the Municipality of West Mani and its main activity is the organic cultivation of aromatic and medicinal plants. In a large area of great natural beauty and exceptional purity, those employed reap the benefits of the environment, while being paid for their work, which is perfectly adapted to the particularities and abilities of each individual. In total safety and always guided by the pace and inclination of each employee, the result and experience is unique. The costs of travel and food are covered by the program, as well as the coverage of other possible needs that may arise.
The result of the production process, the final product and its availability to the wider market, aims to reinforce and prove the idea that people with disabilities can work under appropriate conditions, just like any other member of our society.
